Broadcasters Audience Research Board's Final Figures For The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith

The official viewing figures for The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith have recently been revealed by the Broadcasters Audience Research Board (BARB). The two part story is taken from the third series of The Sarah Jane Adventures and was written by Gareth Roberts. Both the episodes featured Elisabeth Sladen as Sarah Jane Smith with Thomas Knight, Daniel Anthony and Anjli Mohindra as Luke Smith, Clyde Langer and Rani Chandra. The story sees Sarah Jane on the happiest day of her life. Only later does The Doctor turn up and that means trouble. Part one of The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith was first broadcast on the twenty ninth of October at 4:35pm on BBC One. This broadcast managed to achieve an official viewing figure of 1.59 million, meaning it was watched by this many people. Part two of The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith was first broadcast on the thirtieth of October at 4:35pm on BBC One. This broadcast managed to achieve an official viewing figure of 1.47 million. The two episodes were also shown on BBC HD, but the official figures are not available. These were the highest series three ratings to date, most likely because David Tennant guest starred. The Sarah Jane Adventures will continue for 2010.
