Part 1 of Dreamland To Be Made Available On the Doctor Who Website and Red Button Today

Today will see the first part of the new animated Dreamland series, starring David Tennant and Georgia Moffett, air on the BBC Red Button and online. The new series consists of six episodes and begins today. The synopsis for part one reads: Dry Springs, Nevada, 1958. The Doctor befriends a young waitress, Cassie, and her friend, Jimmy, at a diner. The Doctor activates an alien artifact and, after finding further signs of alien activity, the US Army intervenes and takes him and his new companions to the mysterious Area 51 in Roswell, where they find out about Operation Fallen Angel. Will Operation leader Colonel Stark succeed in making the curious trio forget what they have just seen? It will air at different points during the day on the BBC Red Button service, however we do not know these times. It will also be shown on Sky and Virgin, but not Freesat. The BBC Doctor Who website will also add each episode to their website at 4:00pm each day, so part one will be available later this afternoon. The episode will also, later, be added to BBC iPlayer here. Part two of this series will be available tomorrow. Dreamland will air as a complete forty five minute story on the fifth of December and shall do so on BBC Two at 10:00am.
