Each episode also has an accompanying episode of Doctor Who Confidential. The episodes of Confidential which are included as part of this DVD and Blu-ray box set are: Christmas 2008, Desert Storm, Is There Life on Mars?, Lords and Masters and Allons-y. Special features for the set include: commentaries with cast and crew, deleted scenes from the specials, David Tennant's Video Diaries, Christmas BBC idents, trailers, Comic-Con 2009 and Doctor Who at the Proms.

The standard DVD set has a recomended retail price of £39.99 whilst the Blu-ray version is priced at £49.99. However prices are not this high with most places selling the DVD version for around £25 and the Blu-ray version for around £35.
