The End Is Just The Beginning - BBC Site Releases New Trailer To Prepare Us For Series Five

To prepare us for Matt Smith's arrival, the official BBC Doctor Who website have released a fantastic new trailer to promote the upcoming fifth series, which is due to hit our screens this Spring. The preview features clips of Matt Smith as The Eleventh Doctor and Karen Gillan as his new companion Amy Pond. The trailer also features shots of the Weeping Angels and River Song, both of which have starred in Steven Moffat (new head writer) episodes before. The Daleks also appear in the trailer, along with vampires and other foes which The Doctor will have to face over the next year. Although I had my doubts about life after David Tennant I have changed my mind this evening. The upcoming episodes look great and it would seem that Moffat's writing skills will keep the show going. Matt Smith, having seen him for the first time this evening, is also a fantastic actor and it seems Karen Gillan is too. The trailer is truly epic and will leave you wanting to watch it again and again. You can watch it here on the official Doctor Who site or watch the international version on Doctor Who Mad Online's YouTube page here. The series will start in Spring and will most likely run for thirteen weeks straight, however this may not happen.
